    Prolly a silly question in the porn thread, but how to change the bar position (spacers) without changing seat and steering angles?
    Plus, I'm in favour of not-round steerer tubes.

    I guess you use spacers in much the same way as on a normal set-up (ie between the stem and the top bearing cap). As usual, you'll need to factor these in before chopping the steerer. If you're the sort of person that keeps some spacers above the stem for future adjustability*. Then there should be room for at least 15mm under the fork.

    The example in the pic, is likely chopped to minimum steerer length for asthetics. Although most people dont need much in the way of spacers on a 29er.

    (*as opposed to just for better clamping set-up)
