Personally I hate the look of it, but each to their own tastes.
Why not just buy some tools (you're going to need them anyway) and build up your own from second hand parts. You'll end up with what you want and have the feeling of accomplishment as well as the knowledge you'll need to maintain it.
If you're happy with that though, just get it :)
