the problem with phrases such as 'going forward' is that it is almost deliberately vague - the implication is essentially: 'something will need to be done regarding whatever we are discussing in the near future, yet due to me being incapable/unwilling to commit to any actual date i will use this phrase to disguise my incompetence' lunch?
/noticed you hear it a lot from government spokespeople being interviewed on the radio
