There are 5 or so of us on the outward train so far, and a buch more on the return.

Have you guys ever had trouble getting such a large number of bikes on Eurostar or French/German trains? I remember having read somewhere about 3-bike limits...

I just called Lufthansa - they confirmed that there's no extra baggage charge if the bike is your only piece of checked luggage and the box is less than 20kg. Sounds too good to be true, but fuck it, I'll risk it.
