tel your missing the point here.
too ask for what you invest is plain logic.i have the plan to make a sort of free workplace (1 day a week) for people who want to fix there bike.so bringing people together who love to fix bikes and people who want to learn fixing bikes.
but that's a plan that needs more care then i can give at this moment.

How many gears on the rear sprocket? Are the synchro or friction?

Seller highly recommended. We had a nightmare trying to track it down and I was sad to have to cancel it and buy something else but Bjorn did everything possible with refunding etc.

Thanks Parkie, I really appreciate that after all the troubles.
I'm still working out some issues with PP - can you imagine? Haha! -

Last change, before I (probably) swap it for a 56cm Gazelle CM Jubilé, which I'll put up here too. -

Stupidly, I just found out yesterday one of the drop-outs is bend and appears to be showing a crack, so it looks like the frame is no more..
I'll send it over to TNT, who'll (hopefully) give me a compensation/refund. -

yikes! that's a big bummer. could be replaced probably, but a (partial) respray would be necessary
Don't envy you for the tough communicaton process ahead... I got a refund once from TNT cause they (or their UK partner in crime) drove a forklift through a box containing a beutiful near mint bike which sold for 260, was ruined paintjob-wise. Respray cost almost as much as the bike so I got refunded 100 euros... Either that or the worth of the bike (as in 'total loss'). I hope you get a more decent refund!

Hmm, I've been in contact with them earlier today.
I'm asked to send the bike (frame?) and they told me they will refund the whole amount, after it goes through inspection.
I'm sceptic though, as we all know how these things go..Might be possible to get fixed, but that would need a framebuilder, which I don't know any of here in NL for now, partial re-chroming and maybe partial respray.
This bike has given me enough headaches, so I think I'll go for the easy way out.
I just stripped it of it's parts and will send f+f, since they told me they'll most likely shred it..
Too bad, it's a lovely bike.. -

Hi, out of interest, do you have anything else like this available? Looking for a nice road bike for my days out in the spring.
I'm not acting ignorant; I never said I'm not making some money out of these bikes.
It's actually you being ignorant thinking the internet is a place for socialism. ;)
I know what you mean though, this is a real nice, friendly and helpfull forum - that's why I keep coming back here too.
But take into account that I sometimes drive for 3 hours picking up a bike (gas), cleaning, taking photo's, making up the ad, getting a box at the lbs, getting material to prevent the frame from damaging, staying in contact with the buyers as much as possible etc etc.
Great lad if you're not charging a penny for all this. Edit: like Tel says.
On a side note: I could have charged more for a bike like this, but I didn't.
Get my point?
And btw, what is it you started ranting in my thread iso all these others?
