Are the Pegasus rims available with machined brake surface? I quite fancy a pair of black ones but not quite brave enough to go brakeless. Also, do you think I could get rid of the branding or is that stuck there for good?

Branding is just a sticker mate....

Pegasus do have a brake surace but its not machined.I use them on my road and they are fine although eventually the paint will wear through. Why not go machined DP18 on the front and Pegasus rear...V

recon i will be sending for some of these wheels, can you do 126mm spacing on the rear and 100mm on the front? would be a pegasus read and machined front. just need a bit info.

Carbon Clincher!!! Be very careful here mate they must be very high quality as lower qulaity rims will crack and split especially on a track wheel where you need decent pressures. In some instances manufacturers bond an ally rim around the outside to brake on and to keep the tyre in place which kinda defeats the objective i guess..So its tubs all the way mate really..and yes we do them. Not cheap though, around the £400 mark. V

Anyone have some 700c wheels, as a pair or a single wheel I am not bothered, preferably coloured & I need a front wheel with braking surface. I like the deep v style but as it's my first fixed I'd be happy with anything to get me started!
