I've been sitting on a few odds and sods for a while, only today finding the motivation to attempt this note. A collection (KX/ Old Street) would help me to avoid standing in a queue over lunch, but I'm happy to post if needs be.
Shimano DX SPD Compatible shoes
**Size 42 | **£30 + £5 postage
Brand new and boxed! I bought these to use as commuting shoes, figuring that they'd be easier to walk in than my old Northwaves.
They're a nice shoe, but the 42 is big for me. Unfortunately I'm denied an exchange, on account of over-enthusiastically removing the bit of the sole that covers the cleat fitting, before properly trying on the shoes. Pillock.
One thing. I'm a little wary of a single small detail. Exposing the cleat fitting appears to open up the sole to water (I thought I'd best say something). The shoes do come with a sticker for sealing the sole back up, but this didn't feel like sufficient a solution. So? I'll chuck in a roll of industrial-strength blue-tak (it's actually black), which I think should plug the exposed bits quite nicely.
Pro LT Oversized Alloy Stem
110mm | £10 + £3 postage
Mint. Simples.
Campag Veloce Cassette
**13-29 | £10 + £3 **postage
A little grubby, but hardly used.
This was the original cassette that came with a bike bought at the end of last year. After an handful of shortish rides I decided to raise the gearing... This also means that the box in which your new cassette will arrive is that of a Centaur 11-25.
Enigma anatomic handlebars
420mm (measured centre to centre) | £10 + £3 postage
Not the jazziest of brands, no, but solid stuff. In fact, I'd be happy to add brand graphics of your choice for the cost of a bottle of Tippex. They're a wee bit scuffed at the stem clamp. There's a little more about them on the Enigma website.
El cheapo Condor saddle
Free! + £3 postage
Quite soft and spongy, but if that's your thing then that's your thing. I just want rid of it, really.
A mixed bag, then.
