This has truly staggered me, one of the best pieces of art I've ever seen

At the bottom of this page is a viewer for the whole piece

My interest is in the visual qualities of the work-its composition, surface, the relationship of depicted space to line and form-rather than in any implied meaning or message. Clearly the aim was to create a work that emphasized its frontal plane in a way that would echo the surface behind it, suggesting the architectural character of the painting's shape.
Indeed, the work echoes its own edges with its two implied border markings, and even replicates itself, yet it denies any allusion to a mirror. The artist has challenged the viewer to regard the minimal elements of the work, juxtaposed against teh ingratiating aspects of painting, as absolute in its simplicity as much as its complexity.

And for those out there who like numbers a lot: some days I went up and down the ladder more than 500 times; fell off the ladder 4 times; counted in days. I painted more than 4 months every day at least 10 hours; I used 1489 cans; 158 different colours; 600+ caps; 3 different kind of caps, 100 liters primer; 140 liters exterior paint; painted at temperatures from +2C° to +38C° in sunshine, rain, storm, day and night; painted my biggest and smallest piece so far and overall painted my name far more than 100 times on this wall. I'm curious if anyone will guess or find out how many there actually are. I made only one exception from solely painting MadC pieces on this wall. Special place in my heart - special place on my wall.
I don't know shit about graf.. or stencils.. but I know what I like and I know what some of these figures mean.
Alll that = fuck. Mental.

Good graphiti that though, shame it wont last longer than a few years, maybe they should shroud the building in a massive glass cabinet and whist they're at it, make a few bux from ticketing it as a modern art museum.
