Very nicely preserved Viscount Pro

Seat tube 58cm center - center
Top tube 57cm center - center

Sports/touring bike with a beautifully built, lugless frame. Paint job is looking very good over all, some tiny marks and surface rust on rear dropouts. Original centre pull brakes, Shimano 600 gears and chainset (will include pedals), Dura Ace hubs, Selle Italia Daytona saddle. Ample clearance and mounts for mudguards.

Comes with original 'death fork' so don't go cyclocrossing or freestyling with this one... for normal road use it is safe. However I will include this brand new chrome steel 1 piece fork so buyer has a choice.

i still don't think i like the sounds of a death fork...

I understand, but I thought I'd mention it before someone else did, and I really don't believe it will fall apart if you just ride the bike on the road.

in the pic at classic rendezvous its held together by 2 rolled steel pins,nice bike BTW

love all the talk about DEATH FORKS....cervelo have had the same problem but no ones talking about it like with the lamberts (became viscount because of the deathfork tag)

Sheldon Brown himself, may he tour the heavens forever, has apparently ridden one for 8 years without any problem. More old news, thanks to knowthejo in the ebay/craigslist thread

Apologies in advance for the distinct lack of a purchase offer but... could you tell me where you got that replacement fork from? I've got an Aerospace with the original two piece fork, and that looks a good match looks wise.
