  • I know this isn't the ideal time of year, but if anyone's after a bargain quality road frame in 55cm, they could do much worse than this (It's not mine and I don't know the seller....)

Great! it is campy. miche working with campag seems to be debated.

@rhb: they are Look pp337. coloured red but scratched a bit, working bits are excellent though.

  • 53cm Black Volume Cutter for sale with...
    Silver/Black Deep Vs
    Messenger chain ring
    FSA Cranks and BB
    BMX Stem
    Chopped DMR Wingbars
    Charge spoon saddle

If anyone's interested i'm open to reasonable offers. I can post pictures... (it's not been used for months and is a bit dusty so needs a clean first.) It's got your everyday scratches and a ding or so.

  • ^^ ok, thanks for info not the pedals for me though...

  • A pair Velocity Deep V clinchers in electric blue on black formula high flange hubs with black spokes for trade, still running true and looking slick. Something like Mavic Open Pro's would be spot on; message me if your interested.

  • Anyone got a 19t sprocket for a shimano cassette hub...? Want to get my polo gearing right

  • how much for the wheelset wayne?

  • how much for the wheelset wayne?

I need to sell it complete really, otherwise I'll be stuck with a frame I'll never use and once things go in the cellar they're never seen again! Then again if there's no other interest (and it doesn't look like there will be) I'll probably reconsider by next weekend.

What's the going rate for a Deep V's?

  • i think this is the wrong time of year to get the best deal selling your bike wayne. unless you want to keep the sale local (?), sell on the main forum? steve sold his cutter in a heartbeat there

  • ^ I'm in no rush to sell, i just get annoyed every time I walk past in the hall knowing it's wasted. Anyways, cheers for the advice. I'll think about it once the hangover has settled!

Update - It's a good job I didn't sell this..... Got my Bob Jackson out for a once over before I go back to work and it's well and truly knackered. I put it away before Xmas full of snow and salt and everything's seized up. The Phil Wood bottom Bracket has even seized which I thought what impossible.

  • anyone here interested in an old post office bike (pashley steel one)??

i got as far as taking it apart and servicing the headset so far.

stumped on how to get the chainset off (if you want to repaint it) the thread is a different size to anything ive seen before. im sure you could get a bolt down the hardware store that would fit to extract them...but i cant be bothered as im out of cash for this project.

bottom bracket, headset perfect condition. few spots of rust, chips and scratches everywhere.

wheels - stermyarcher 3 speed with drum brakes. one of the rims is dented so could do with a rebuild - i always intended to build some more modern rims for decent tyres.

frame, fork, wheels, gears, brakes etc...all freecycle. (no original stem or bar). (no front tray unfortunately).

i did buy a nice stem and bar for it and would want to get my 14quid back on them if you want.

if there is any interest ill post some pics - would be a shame to see it go to waste (sitting in my garage for eternity).

  • aw heck wayne, now ive gone and checked my bike and its bb is dryyy and chain is made of rust

Can anyone help me with a v-brake lever for bmx diameter bars?

  • Thanks void, but £150 is a bit over my budget for this build.
I've been offered a gazzelle for 60 quid.
Might go for that unless anyone's got anything else?

  • cool i realise it seems alot but those 1" colnago forks go for £60 on their own headsets are 50 (new) i should probably just split it up and sell, will do £120 if anyones interested
