Broadband internet and a swift bit of searching through live feeds and it's there.
The very one mentioned earlier in this thread works quite well until they switch it off without warning, then there's a few backups around but you have to bear the adverts
Meh - our friggin Broadband's so bloody slow it's a dead loss for anything like that.
Was going to watch it at the chap's across the road, but the selfish bastard had a burst pipe (a week after finishing the conversion - new floors and carpets etc) and I've just spent the afternoon ripping out all the wet stuff with him, and his squeamish missus has insisted they and the 3 kiddies stay somewhere (warm and dry) tonight. Pah. What could be warmer and dryer than TMS from Dowunder?
And they say Christmas is a time for sharing.

As an aside, it really pissed me off that you can't watch this national treasury being constructed unless you pay fikkin Sky. It's just plain wrong.
Whole heartedly agree - although I have accees to sky through Virgin.
Just a small consolation though there are highlights on ITV4 although it is the Austrailian Channel9 coverage.
Bought myself a Beer to celebrate this eve, hope its not premature.

With Tubby Taylor cheering the house down whenever Aus get a slight breakthrough, typically unbiased coverage.

Correct - thats why I pointed out it was Ch 9 = it is really pretty tainted

Warne is OK, but the others...
They are actively cheering on Aus right now on the highlights! ffs

Not long now. Soon the Ashes shall be ours, all ours - mwaaah ha ha ha ha!
And Ponting found wanting.
End of an era.

Haddin and Johnson to fight hard and start knocking down the deficit?
Or early wickets and a fold?
-
• #1218
A bridge too far either way.
My guess. They'll not be able to do anything useful (who could). Will start to flash the bat in a "shit or bust" fashion. Get, say, 100, in short order, then caught hooking, and collapse follow rapidly. Session after lunch.

Bowlers might take a bit of time to settle down. There's the new ball to consider later.

Yes, will be interesting to see how the attack copes with the lure of taking the urn. Would guess a few wayward deliveries early on, then slinging it down like men possessed, backs bent, fingers bleeding and personal bests all round; I bloody would (in another dream life).
I just want them to bowl dollies underarm at Ponting in the last game!

Maybe Tremlett will get 3 of the 8 wickets he should have had yesterday

I hope so, I think he did a really good job, and was pleasingly down to earth in the interview after wards - all good to see. Would be great to see this series being the bedrock of of careers from here on in.
4 wickets in the game. mebbe one each. Bresnan deserves one for sure.

It's all gonna be over before the first drinks break. 4 wickets from the apalling aus tail wont take long.

The time is neigh! Stand by wireless, for a bloody good listening too!
Sometimes, sport is just the dog's, and this is one of those times!

For the 5th test I would be tempted to swap Colly for Morgan, and possibly put Bell or Morgan above Pieterson, just to see if he can do better with more score on the board
