I need a tidy pair of brake levers (or would consider a pair of 8 speed STIs for the right price) to get my girlfriends bike back on the road. I don't have a massive amount to spend, and will need to ask you to post, but I suppose anything upto about £20 for something half-decent, as I can get a basic pair, brand new for £17.99 inc postage on chainreaction.
I'm also after a short cage rear mech, to work with an 8 speed setup. Something in good nick but not too flashy would be ideal (sora etc would do the job nicely). Again, I don't have a massive budget, but I'm not after anything fancy.
