Incidentally we do have the 2011 one in the Wimbledon Evans, the purple one is more aimed at trick (with a slightly beefy fork), and the black one with blue spoke is the normal one.
I feel the Mongoose is actually a very good bicycle for the money, it handle well, weight pretty reasonable and appear decent, the biggest downside is obvious the horrible appearance naturally, but despite that, it's a good bike.
