I like the Outier trouser as they've a large range of measurment, could not fit 32, nor 34, but least they have a 33, smack bang in the middle.

The pair of bspoke trousers that came today are definitely going straight back! The jersey and gloves aren't that bad though, think I'll be keeping those.
Back to Rapha... What's the deal with their cap sizing, I ordered a medium and it's really tight. They're sizing puts a large at 60cm+ and my bonce is nowhere near that big. Does anyone know if there is a huge difference between the medium and large?

I have a 60 sweede and a M Rapha Cap that fits perfectly.

Brilliant! Probably my favourite book cover ever.

Hmmmm, maybe I just need a haircut then.
I will say though, Rapha has the nicest packaging of anything I've ever ordered online.

Yup, the caps are really nicely made, and surprisingly waterproof and breathable for cotton, with that funny pink lining.
It's fair to say there's not a lot of hair involved in my fitting.

I have a pretty fat head (always have to wear large sized helmets) and the large Rapha cap is still pretty tight on me. I have several one-size-fits-all elasticated caps and almost all of them are looser than the Rapha one.
Their one-size winter hat is fine on me though.

I would like to spend a load of cash I dont have on the rapha sale.
Ffs....
I've got some of that bspoke stuff too - it's going back. I can see why it was so heavily discounted now, hideous stuff.
Nice to know Andy, definitely not buying then.
And yet still they're £100, are they that much better than a pair of let's say Gap chino's?
Err.... same shit, different smell.
Only trousers worth £100 need to last you a lifetime... Rapha won't.^ Nice avatar only_forward. My dad designed it! :)
1st nice thing coming off this thread. Congrats to your Dad ;)

Really, they even cover wear and tear?

I've used it a couple of times and they've repaired things promptly and even refund your postage costs for returning it to them.

Fair enough, good to know.
Still, Rapha adds nothing to the cycling world... a bit like me. -

+1 to andyp's comment
Very quick and prompt but I think it has to be something you bought direct from their website, not sample sale or from a shop. They charged very reasonably for repairs on items I had bought in sales and damaged.
I think rapha have probably added a lot more than nuknow to the cycling world, but if you wish to bring them down to your level in your petty little head so be it.
Rapha's contribution - support at and of events, sponsoring teams, organising events such as the Gentlemans TT, nocturnes etc etc VS Nuknows contribution of stabbing at a keyboard.

Let's say I buy a pair of trousers and the crotch wears through after 6 months or so, they'll repair it and post it all gratis.
Good service indeed.
Tempting...

Still, Rapha adds nothing to the cycling world... a bit like me.You trawl the internet finding pictures of beautiful bikes so we don't have to. I, for one, thank you for this excellent service!

I think Rapha looks fucking awful.
no better than any other cycling clothing.
which I believe they desire it to.
the repair service is a nice touch though. -

Only two more sleeps before this is resolved!
Eh? He is a whippet, whereas I feel like the gorilla in super mario kart when I am on the bike.
