I did it because we had two bikes stolen from my second flat in london, in the pre-forum days.
There is no option for "three of my bikes are locked to pipes in the closet, my fourth bike is kept in a locked closet in a doormaned building on the west side of Park Avenue in the 60's with my sidis, lycra and helmet in a flat that I have a key too but is mostly used to house guests of my friends parents (or the parents themselves) when they are in town otherwise it remains empty except for a maid who visits and who washes my cycling kit if I leave a note asking her to."
