  • Hmm... At first I thought that 70% sale is on here:

  • @ sparky, your piece on L'eroica was on Bike show tonight. I was smiling the whole time!

Ah, I thought it was going to go out in January. Will the podcast be up tomorrow? What were you talking on?

  • Whoever thinks about ordering those Bspoke mock leather gloves - make sure you get them one size bigger.
I ordered according to the size chart and they're very tight. Tight winter gloves = numb finger tips.

  • Not as pricey on many items, suddenly. Fire sale?

  • Still pricey but it does seem to imply that some of the Paul Smith stuff isn't selling as that is where the deepest discounts are.

Can we expect to see you Rapha'd up at the Madison then?

What a cheek?! I've just spend loadsa money on Rapha & PS uniform and some merino and now it's on sale? Fuck that!

  • So if Rapha is too pricy for you, there is 70% everything at www.bspoke.co.uk right now.

Cheers for the link, I ordered the Russell Merino top and am very impressed with it-great bargain! It fits really well and is comfortable with just the right amount of give so it should hold its shape well and also accommodate my ever expanding festive beer gut!

  • I got the bspoke trousers, at less than £25 they seemed an utter bargain. The cut is really not very good, waist band does not sit well and the legs are far too baggy. Fine for riding around but not very flattering off the bike.

If I roll them up to wear them as hipster jodhpurs for riding my steed, they balloon like a nazi uniform.

  • I would like to spend a load of cash I dont have on the rapha sale.

  • Yeah, I ordered a merino top in that bspoke sale. Mega cheap but the cut is like a rugby shirt...

  • I've got some of that bspoke stuff too - it's going back. I can see why it was so heavily discounted now, hideous stuff.

  • I've ordered a pair of those trousers and they still haven't arrived. I'll ask for a refund instead.

  • Talk about stepping out of the sartorial comfort zone. Who the hell designed their stuff?

Having seen how the other half live, I am now reverting to type.

  • £50 off Rapha trousers now, better get ordering.

  • I know, they actually fit. One of the potential purchases.

  • And yet still they're £100, are they that much better than a pair of let's say Gap chino's?

  • I appreciate this is the Rapha thread, but I bought some Outlier trousers from Tokyo Fixed Gear that I'm very impressed with. The Swrve trousers are good too.

  • Yes, they are cut with a waist band that is lower at the front so they don't dig in when you are leaning forwards on the bike. Treated cotton so light rain beads on them, the fabric stretches but returns to shape quickly so no baggy knees when off the bike.

Its the little details that make them more comfortable.

  • Swerve would not fit around my thighs, made for hipsters and whippets.

What is the cut like on the outliers - if it fits you Andy then probably not for me.

  • I went for the slim fit Climbers rather than the normal fit Four Seasons because they fitted my svelte legs better.

  • Get a room...

  • I'm liking the look of those Outlier pants, but for $180 they'd better last.

  • So they have different cuts available? Off to tfg website to investigate.

Shit more pricey than the pricey trousers.

You may be over-estimating your girth twinkle toes...
