is the PEUGEOT ROAD FRAME 1980s still available? u ship to indonesia? please reply to . thx.
Hi everyone,
I’ve just sorted out another lot of interesting frames. Shipping on frames within the UK will be £11 - other items can ship free of charge in the same box. I can ship anywhere in the world at a reasonable cost.
ALL ITEMS ARE IN BRISTOL
Unless specifically described I do not guarantee headsets or BBs which are fitted to frames. With all frames I can fit headsets or BBs - headset fitting costs £12; please see my latest headset thread:
http://www.lfgss.com/thread53572.html
for details of what is available.
Payment can be via bank transfer (preferred), cheque or the dreaded Paypal which costs me 3%…
** If you dib an item, please PM me and pay the same day unless you make other arrangements with me. Otherwise it may well be sold to the next person who wants it...**
Viewing/Personal collection is welcome as quite a few have found and have been able to get other parts they are looking for at the same time.

PEUGEOT ROAD FRAME Reynolds 501
Seat Tube (ctc): 23in (58cm)
Top Tube (ctc): 23.4in (59.5cm)
Rear dropout width: 126mm
This Peugeot road frame from the mid to late 80s is in very sound condition and is built from Reynolds 501 tubing. The top tube has been repainted very neatly and the forks are not original. It can easily be used as a singlespeed or fixed conversion. £49
CARLTON ROAD FRAME Reynolds 531 1978
Seat Tube (ctt): 57cm (22.5in)
Top Tube (ctc): 57cm (22.5in)
Rear dropout width: 122mm
Wheel size: 700C/sprints with brake drop of 63mm
Seatpost size: 26.4mm
Frame tubing: Reynolds 531
This Carlton road frame was built with Reynolds 531 tubing in 1978. The paint is a little speckled but is perfectly useable. It would make a straightforward fixed or singlespeed conversion. £74 SOLD
PEUGEOT ROAD FRAME 1980s
Seat Tube (ctc): 55cm (21.5in)
Top Tube (ctc): 56cm (22in)
Rear dropout width: 125mm
Wheel size: Sprints/700C with brake drop of 50mm
This Peugeot road frame from the 1980s is in very sound condition and with horizontal dropouts will make a very easy conversion to singlespeed or fixed. £39
CLAUD BUTLER COUREUR ROAD FRAME 1960s
Seat Tube (ctt): 58cm (23in)
Top Tube (ctc): 57cm (22.5in)
Rear dropout width: 120mm
Wheel size: 27s or Sprints/700C with brake drop of 64mm
Frame tubing: Reynolds 531
Seatpost size: 26.4mm
This Claud Butler road frame from I think the 1960s is in exceptionally sound condition. But it really needs repainting - its paint is in very poor condition - the price reflects this... It could easily be used as a singlespeed or fixed conversion. £39 SOLD
MOTOBECANE LE MANS SPORT ROAD FRAME
Seat Tube (ctc): 51cm (20in)
Top Tube (ctc): 52.5cm (20.75in)
Rear dropout width: 120mm
Wheel size: Sprints/700C with brake drop of 50mm
Seatpost size: 25.8mm
This Motobecane road frame is in exceptionally nice and clean condition with excellent paint and is dent free. It will make a very good conversion to singlespeed or fixed. £69 SOLD
DAWES WINDSOR TOURING FRAME 1980s
Seat Tube (ctt): 58cm (23in)
Top Tube (ctc): 57cm (22.5in)
Rear dropout width: 122mm
Seatpost size: 27.0mm
This Dawes road frame has been converted into a tourer with cantilever brake braze-ons. The paint is quite sound and useable though it has a number of marks. A very good starter for tourer. Its almost certainly built with Reynolds 531 double butted main tubes judging by the seatpost size. £75
STRATTON ROAD FRAME c1988
Seat Tube (ctt): 57cm (22.5in)
Top Tube (ctc): 55.5cm (21.75in)
Rear dropout width: 128mm
Wheel size: 700C (brake drop 47mm)
Seatpost size: 27.0mm
Strattons are an old established shop (originally it was Claud Butlers main shop) and have had frames from a number of sources - this frame I do not think is one of the Bill Grey ones but it is nevertheless a rather nice late 80s frame. It is almost certainly built from Reynolds 531 double butted tubing. It has had a dent filled in the down tube and two small ones in the seatstays - hence it is only £63. SOLD
PEUGEOT ROAD FRAME 1970s/80s
Seat Tube (ctc): 52.5cm (20.75in)
Top Tube (ctc): 53.5cm (21.4in)
Rear dropout width: 120mm
Wheel size: 700C with brake drop of 49mm
This Peugeot from the late 70s/early 1980s is in very sound condition. and will make a very good budget conversion - the closer than normal brake drop is a real advantage. The paint whilst a little tatty could be cleaned up to be very useable. £38 SOLD
CLAUD BUTLER COMPETITOR ROAD FRAME c1979
Seat Tube (ctt): 56cm (22in)
Top Tube (ctc): 55cm (21.5in)
Rear dropout width: 124mm
Wheel size: 700C (brake drop 45mm)
Seatpost size: 26.4mm
Frame Tubing: Reynolds 531
This Claud Butler road frame from the late 1970s is in very nice condition with paint in extremely useable condition. It will make a very easy fixed or singlespeed conversion and has reasonably close clearances. £75 SOLD
DAWES LIGHTNING ROAD FRAME 1980s
Seat Tube (ctt): 49.5cm (19.5in)
Top Tube (ctc): 52cm (20.75in)
Rear dropout width: 120mm
Wheel size: Sprints/700C (brake drop 50mm)
Seatpost size: 26.8mm
This Dawes Lightning fillet brazed road frame from I think the early 1980s is in excellent condition with only a few small marks to the paint. The frame is really rather nicely brazed and will make an excellent small budget conversion. £48 SOLD
