• My bike was locked up at work with a d lock through the rear wheel, frame and bike stand and someone leaving the car park reversed into it and hit the wheel straight on. The wheel is basically fine, but there is a slight buckle in it.

Another colleague saw the incident and said he saw my whole bike move forward slightly when this happened but that my d lock stopped it from moving too far. I know I should check for other damage possibly caused by the car pushing the bike but the bike being held in place by the lock but unless there is something obviously cracked or bent in the rear triangle I'm not sure what to look for. Does anyone have any suggestions?

It cycled home fine last night. But I want to make sure I have all the information before I go to the person that hit it (and didn't stop! or come find me and tell me).

Thanks for any advice, trying to tread carefully as I have to work with this person and it's a fairly small office.
