Assuming this is aimed at me, I understand that, but this is not an attempt to absolve myself from any problems in the slightest, this was planned weeks ago, just trying to maximise publicity for the event.

Also... I'm on a whisky tip at the moment and usually go for deep peaty single malts, but I'd like to try something smooth... anyone got a recommendation for a really gorgeous smooth single malt? Scottish obviously.
