[NB I'm not absolutely certain that Mrs v-r appreciated me rolling a wet, snow-caked bike into the middle of the living room on my return home. It seems 'it needs to dry off' isn't an acceptable reason.]

Better not leave stuff on the tables anymore as we do every week. Best plan to misplace stuff, get them covered in ketchup and beer and burnt by candles. Pubs are gruesome places.

where was everyone by the time jenny j and i arrived? there were 2 bikes outside..!

had a nice guinness with marky boy, his young nephew jake and erica his girlfriend as well as jenny j. then the legendary dropout arrived as i was trying to leave so had a whiskey and a chat with him.

also met james for the first time - steve's partner - the other owner of the coach and horses. nice guy.
