Finding a partner is never a problem. Every year there are at least 10 people who have been 'jilted' by hungover partners. I'll be going if I'm in a barely acceptable state!
Definitely my favourite cross event, you can actually go vaguely fast for the whole thing, rather than plodding along hanging on to your position for 3/4 of the race.
