Token Headset Problem

Anyone else had problems with token 1'' threaded headsets?

I cant seem to get more then a few miles without it seizing up slightly. When taken apart, some of the needle bearings have come out of their housings.
I've already bought a new Tange Levin headset to replace it, but it would be nice to know if anyone else has had this problem with Token...

yes.
Its not the first headset i've installed, and have had no problems with any of others. Its my first with needle bearings though...

How did you install the headset (i.e. proper/home made tool or a hammer and bit of wood?) Could be that the cups are not quite parallel causing it to bind at certain angles when steering?
