• The Empo's wheel size is 700c. There's no braze ons on the seatstays but there are solutions for that (like on Elguapo's bike above).

    btw: For touring bikes, 650 is considered better than 700, for smaller diameter and the same amount of spokes make stronger wheels

    If I was going for stronger wheels I'd have 26"s for sure, especially as they have the advantage that it's easy to get spare tyres and tubes etc. I'm heading to E.Europe and maybe Africa though so 700c will be rare enough, let alone 650b. Cheers but I don't fancy the brake bridge rack mount, it's a pain adjusting brakes when the mudguard, rack and brake are all on the same bolt, I find anyway, and it never looks quite as reliable either. I've used botch clips as well to hold the rack on but there's nothing like direct mounting braze ons.

    Edit. Thanks for the Motobecane offer Elguapo, but 27"s and slightly small rule it out for me.
