Who's using 9t drivers on MTBs? Only really needed with the little wheels on children's bikes. With micro chainrings of 25-28t, a 26" bike only needs sprockets which fit a standard cassette spline.
Ah, I see you lack ambition. You could have real micro and use a 18/9 setup :-)
The mention of micro to me leads to a 9t driver not a 28t chainring but that is my take on micro I guess.
