so, i have just acquired a 2 speed kickback hub. the high gear is 1.1 and the low gear is something like 65%. the cog on the hub is 18t and that is the only size they are made in (there are some other doodads attached to it).
so, my question: i would like the ratio for the high gear to be 3.23 or as close to it as possible. therefore i need a 58t chainring. do they exist?
after reading a bit i found out that having a low cadence can destroy your knees so i changed my ratio down to 2.89 (52:18) and i just end up going slower because i stop thinking about my cadence. hopefully i dont have to have this as my high gear.
