  • Hi All,

On the look out for a friend.

    Needs to be 700c.

Not too worried about quality - shimano, velosteel, etc.

Whole wheel be nice, but just the hub considered too.

    Ta muchly

  • Also after similer if anyone has anything, and if knowthejo has found something already.
    tah

  • Nah, not yet.

  • a beginner could hurt themselves in the dodgy icy condition during winter, if they are not expecting the lock-out/skidding these wheels make

  • Very true. Had one last year in the snow and was good fun- but certainly not very safe!

  • have velosteel 36spoke in chromed-finish rigida chirina rim, 700c, for sale. get back to me during the week and ill give you some pictures..?

btw someone else on the forum, in ldn, is waiting to see its condition /pictures. i wouldnt say they have dibs... but dont want to offend them if they/you read this i'll send you pictures as agreed ;)

  • Brill, how much you thinking?

  • a beginner could hurt themselves in the dodgy icy condition during winter, if they are not expecting the lock-out/skidding these wheels make

for the sound of that post you are a hater. anyway, im going to put it out there that you will only skid if you want to. you have a massive amount of modulation with shimano ones. admittedly that other brand that slips my mind right now that most people recommend has much less modulation and is more on/off but you can still stop without skidding. and yes, i have been riding mine every day in the recent shitty snow and ice and havnt had a problem.
