No it wasnt that it was much more interesting than that.
You had 8 players and you had to protect your own flag which would be on your side of the map and then find your opponents on their side. The winner was the first person to step on to their opponents flag.
You would each have a turn to use your 8 players and generally would keep 4 behind to protect the base and would send 4 ahead to scout the new area looking for the flag. I used to play it on a 486pc against my bro, each taking turns. when you discover an attacker in your territory you have a ruck with them and the loser has to run back to their base and misses a couple of goes. Great strategy game.
