Old Polo Thread

ok i have some very exciting news regarding the website and branding of Manchester Polo, My girlfriend Louise is a graphic designer and has agreed to design the identity of MCR polo as well as the website, working with help from our creative director here Trevor Johnson:

Im sure you agree this should be pretty awesome and im excited to see what they come up with.

Now the bad bit, as this sort of work form professionals obviously should cost in the thousands so we cant demand too much in short space of time, hopefully we will have some stuff sorted in the new year so anyone wanting a quick fix for the merch etc should go ahead for now.

we would be stupid to turn this down but has anyone got any concerns with this, totally disagrees with it? please speak up now

sounds good to me, let us know if you need any help in any way. Dont see the need for a quick fix for merc at the moment like paul has been suggesting, this sounds like a better option.

great polo tonight and impromptu polo xmas meal in there as well! weatherspoons is the new whitworth although no where near as good for pulling unless your after old men

Any polo games going on between the 20th and 23rd? I'm doing some work in Liverpool for the week and wouldn't mind meeting up with you all and checking out the powerhaus.

I'd still encourage people to get together to decide what the logo/website etc. stand's for/repreesents before rather than after the commission starts.

South Manchester would be very up for selling merchandise that comes out of this project, natch, as we see oursleves as firmly under any MCR polo umbrella. Best check for any licencing restrictions if you are paying.

ive not gone down today, cant afford being stuck down there with the weather being the way it is. i'll be down some time in jan for sure, so will bring them back by then. if you want them posted thats up to you to arrange with london, but like i said im happy to bring them back up as soon as i get down there.
