I visited Seven Cycles when I was in Boston earlier this year, This was one of the employees commuter bike, The front rack was made from offcuts of titanium seat and chainstays, you can just about see the mesh panel across the front of the rack which is the leftovers of the sheet that they stamp the seat and chainstay caps from...

Is it bad form to post my own bike?
Anyway, here is my daily commuter- ugly fork was the result of bending the previous two curved ones, so I went with the more functional but uglier option.

Proper! Love this.

I like that seven too, but I'd also want a rack on the back.

I agree, this fashion for racks on the front is all very well, but most of the time carrying heavy stuff on the back is a lot easier. In my experience. The load size is restricted by the bars and it messes with the steering. Fine for bikes with the right geometry, I guess.
Also, fitting a rack yet no kind of hand brake is silly^2 (#262)

its a fixed gear, I hear they're quite popular these days. Hipsters seem to like them...

The only thing needing to be fixed will be the teeth of whoever loads that shit and rides it.

• #269
that yellow bike is nuts, I love it. looks like something from mad max.
-
• #270
fixed without brakes, no foot retention, cargo, steep hill. Sounds like a solid plan.
