Could these be stuck on a roadframe with 130mm width on the rear?
If so dibs.

I have a bolt on freewheel rear with 130mm for £30 if interested Thrust.

Thing is, it's for the missus and she wants them white. These she took a fancy to when I showed her.

I've done it before - you have to be a bit gentle getting them in but as long as it's a sturdy steel frame then you won't fuck it up irreparably or anything.

Or get a longer axle?
-
• #7
Yeah, a new axle will probably be required. I'll measure tonight but I imagine the rear will need a new axle and maybe some spacers.

Too much hassle then.
I'll say undibs.
Thanks for the thought though.

I'll check the axle width anyway for you tonight. It may be wide enough.

Any news on the width? I might still be interested in these if it's wide enough and if you can post them to Swe.

I'll call 2nd Dibs if:
1.Thrust no longer wants them
2.They are 120mm
3.You'll come down a little in price? Just found a place selling them for £86 and £4.60p+p so the extra £5.60 to use the shop is worth it for some form of protection against faulty goods. -

Let's see what Thrust says after I measure the axle width.

OK, they're 120mm but with an axle width of about 160mm with some chunky track nuts.
So..... they can be fitted into a 130mm dropout.
I bought these off eBay for a friend a while ago but he never used them and he now wants to get rid of them asap. They've never been used, they've been sat in the packaging since purchase.
White Omega rims with black spokes, & black hubs. They'd look much better with the stickers taken off the rims so they're plain white. The hubs are unbranded black alloy ones and the rims have a machined braking surface.

SOLD - they cost £89.99 and have never even been stuck in a frame, so hopefully £75 is a decent enough price for somebody to take them.
Size = 700cc
Front axle width = 100mm
Rear axle width = 120mm
Available for pick-up from London N16 or can post an extra £10.
