Absolutely! I've only done a handful of Northern rides so far, but I'm definitely on for more in the new year. Plotting an exciting route is dead easy, my approach has always been a bit "pot luck", but I've yet to go wrong.
I've not done the lake district yet, Hardknott Pass is high up[/nopunintended] on my list.
