• Hi everyone,
I’ve just sorted out another lot of interesting frames. Shipping on frames within the UK will be £11 - other items can ship free of charge in the same box. I can ship anywhere in the world at a reasonable cost.

    ALL ITEMS ARE IN BRISTOL

Unless specifically described I do not guarantee headsets or BBs which are fitted to frames. With all frames I can fit headsets or BBs - headset fitting costs £12; please see my latest headset thread:

    http://www.lfgss.com/thread53572.html

for details of what is available.

Payment can be via bank transfer (preferred), cheque or the dreaded Paypal which costs me 3%…

** If you dib an item, please PM me and pay the same day unless you make other arrangements with me. Otherwise it may well be sold to the next person who wants it...**

Viewing/Personal collection is welcome as quite a few have found and have been able to get other parts they are looking for at the same time.

    RORY O’BRIEN ROAD FRAME c1989
    Seat Tube (ctc): 22in (56cm)
    Top Tube (ctc): 22in (56cm)
    Rear dropout width: 128mm
    Seatpost size: 27.2mm
Wheel size: 700C with brake drop of 50mm
This Rory O’Brien road frame is in excellent virtually mint condition is built from Reynolds 531 Competition tubing; an excellent headset and BB are included. It can easily be used as a singlespeed or fixed conversion. £165

SHORTER ROAD FRAME Nervex Pro lugs c1978
    Seat Tube (ctt): 52cm (20.5in)
    Top Tube (ctc): 54cm (21.25in)
    Rear dropout width: 124mm
Wheel size: 700C/sprints with brake drop of 48mm
    Seatpost size: 27.2mm
Frame tubing: Reynolds 531 double butted
This Shorter road frame built with Reynolds 531 double butted tubing dates I think from the late 1970s. Its built with the very classic Nervex Pro lugs which have been very nicely filed - it may well have been built by Barry Chick who built many of Shorter’s frames in the 1970s and 80s. The paint is generally very good to excellent with only a few small marks. It would make a straightforward fixed or singlespeed conversion with its long Campag dropouts. £125

    HOLDSWORTH PROFESSIONAL ROAD FRAME c1990
    Seat Tube (ctt): 58cm (23in)
    Top Tube (ctc): 56.5cm (22.25in)
    Rear dropout width: 128mm
Wheel size: Sprints/700C with brake drop of 45mm
    Seatpost size: 27.2mm
    Frame tubing: Reynolds 531C
This is one of the last Holdsworth Professional frames built from probably 1990 - its in very good condition and with horizontal dropouts will make a very easy conversion to singlespeed or fixed. £95

    WILLINGALE ROAD FRAME c1950
    Seat Tube (ctt): 61cm (24in)
    Top Tube (ctc): 58cm (23in)
    Rear dropout width: 112mm
Wheel size: 27s or 700C/sprints with a brake drop of 62mm
Frame tubing: Reynolds 531 double butted
    Seatpost size: 27.2mm
Willengale was a small bike shop in Sutton on the southern reaches of London - this large road frame dates I think from about 1950. Its built from Reynolds 531 double butted tubing and what I think are Oscar Egg lugs. It has Chater Lea rear dropouts. Its patina is very attractive. And it could easily be used as a fixed or single speed conversion. £145

CLAUD BUTLER COUREUR ROAD FRAME 1960s
    Seat Tube (ctt): 58cm (23in)
    Top Tube (ctc): 57cm (22.5in)
    Rear dropout width: 120mm
Wheel size: 27s or Sprints/700C with brake drop of 64mm
    Frame tubing: Reynolds 531
    Seatpost size: 26.4mm
This Claud Butler road frame from I think the 1960s is in exceptionally sound condition. But it really needs repainting - its paint is in very poor condition - the price reflects this... It could easily be used as a singlespeed or fixed conversion. £39

    ARTHUR CAYGILL ROAD FRAME
    Seat Tube (ctt): 55cm (21.5in)
    Top Tube (ctc): 54cm (21.25in)
    Rear dropout width: 125mm
Wheel size: Sprints/700C with brake drop of 44mm
Frame tubing: Reynolds 531 double butted
    Seatpost size: 27.2mm
This Arthur Caygill road frame from the 1980s is finished in an unusual speckled white paint which is in very good condition with just a few marks. The frame built from Reynolds 531C tubing. It has semi-vertical dropouts which makes it slightly more tricky to use as a singlespeed conversion - however the slight angle of the dropouts should mean its possible to get a tight chain with most sprocket/chainwheel combinations especially if a half link is used. £89

PEUGEOT 531 TRIATHLON ROAD FRAME c1989
    Seat Tube (ctc): 58cm (23in)
    Top Tube (ctc): 58cm (23in)
    Rear dropout width: 128mm
Wheel size: 700C/sprints with brake drop of 50mm
This Peugeot Triathlon road frame built from Reynolds 531 tubing is in very good sound condition. It will make an ideal winter or trainer bike with gears - the vertical dropouts make it unsuitable for use as a singlespeed or fixed conversion. £79

MOTOBECANE LE MANS SPORT ROAD FRAME
    Seat Tube (ctc): 51cm (20in)
    Top Tube (ctc): 52.5cm (20.75in)
    Rear dropout width: 120mm
Wheel size: Sprints/700C with brake drop of 50mm
    Seatpost size: 25.8mm
This Motobecane road frame is in exceptionally nice and clean condition with excellent paint and is dent free. It will make a very good conversion to singlespeed or fixed. £69

    DAWES LIGHTNING ROAD FRAME 1980s
    Seat Tube (ctt): 49.5cm (19.5in)
    Top Tube (ctc): 52cm (20.75in)
    Rear dropout width: 120mm
Wheel size: Sprints/700C (brake drop 50mm)
    Seatpost size: 26.8mm
This Dawes Lightning fillet brazed road frame from I think the early 1980s is in excellent condition with only a few small marks to the paint. The frame is really rather nicely brazed and will make an excellent small budget conversion. £48
