Are we talking about the police now? Or students?

A serious question - what proportion of the average student's income does £6k per annum equate to? Do we have the same figure for those who pay CGT?

I think if we had those figures to hand then it would be pretty obvious why one group is protesting.

The 6k (or 18k) needs to be viewed over the period of repayment. There is no relevant 'per annum' here.
