Well, yeah sort of. I guess it was pretty light for a steel utility bike and the kind of bike I'm used to. What I basically meant though is it's lightweight in a bad way - the whole thing just feels flimsy. The 'light', grips and pedals were nasty too. I got instead an old Raleigh 3 speed.
