About 3 weeks ago. Perhaps Dan is planning to combine alleycatting with recycling and selling bikes; every check-point is a new task i.e. remove siezed post, change rusty cables, new tubes, clean and then the final checkpoint is up Shotover hill and you have to make it there on the thing! Ha ha. But really I think all the emphasis is on training mechanics...which is good I guess as there are more and more bikes on the streets so we needs more hands to fix-em. A lot of blood n sweat went into that place and it was a really special place. I wish them all the best and I reckon they will still be able to rustle up fun and classic reconditioned bikes;
