For a while, I'm sure Hillybilly's been coming since inception. Turn him over and rub his belly, he loves that.

Good turnout tonight, pity we had to share the place with the footie fans.
Here's the muffin recipe for those who I promised it to;
3 cups flour
1½ cups sugar
4 tsp cream of tartar
3 tsp bicarbonate of soda1 tsp salt
1 tsp ground nutmeg
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp ground cloves¾ cup milk
½ cup melted butter
3 eggs
1 cup mincemeatMix dry ingredients thoroughly in one bowl. Mix wet ingredients thoroughly in another bowl. Add wet mix to dry and stir until to a thick batter – leaving a few lumps is better than overdoing it and getting chewy muffins. Spoon batter into silicone muffin tray or muffin cases in metal muffin tray, and bake at 180°C for 20-25 miniutes, until golden brown on top
I'll probably bring more to the xmas party

I feel I ought to attend given the date as it's a kind of anniversary for me.
However, I can't as I've got to help prepare for a certain little person's first birthday on Wednesday.
I thought Baby Jesus' birthday was only in about two weeks' time.

You being the pot to my kettle??
Ha.
In the kingdom of the blind, the one eyed man is King.
Yes, but as Jenny has seen the pots and kettles, she's clearly not blind.

Ah! Also did anyone see a pair of specialized lobster gloves anywhere inside the pub or out on the benches? miss_socks managed to lose her gloves somewhere around there. There will be a pint for anyone who finds them and maybe some biscuit's.

Steve has lobster gloves behind the bar, we thought they belonged to MIss Socks. Someone else left a hat, which Dropout might have (or it's also with Steve).
See you all on Friday...

The black knitted hat is with Steve behind the bar.
Had a nice late quickie with Jenny and Marky, by which time the footie fans had gone. Happy Birthday Jenny!
Look forward to seeing you all on Friday.
