Maybe I've got mixed up here, from memory it was 70mm which would make it Italian. I may have listed it wrong, will check tonight.

OK, so the BB is Italian threaded. The BB shell measures 70mm. Sorry for the confusion.

Absolute Bargain
If this frame is still here to-morrow I'll eat my Merckx Team Kelme Corsa Extra.
Seriously though, this is a really good deal.

Looks like you're eating your Merckx my friend.

Not sure what year it's from, given the paintwork it's obviously 90s but not sure of the exact year. I don't know much about Columbus Brain, all I know is this frame is pretty light.
you could check the merckx database with the numbers stamped into the BB shell

Thanks Peter, there's no record of 'G' on the database unfortunately.

Probably 97/98 though don't you think, based on the sequences we have already seen? Stradas were definitely made then.

Just like to add I have eaten my Merckx Team Kelme. Went down well with some Moules Frites.
Not quite as tasty as a Colnago Master I had to eat a couple of years ago.

Well buff, especially for the price. Also surprised it took four days to sell!
Blame pre-Christmas quiet / broke time I think.

^ I tried to sell a Merckx frame on the forum twice, left it on for a couple of weeks, there was low to no interest. I put them on the 'bay and sold them for at least twice the amount I asked here to guys in Malaysia/Thailand/Indonesia. sometimes bargains just get overseen I guess.
so this was a very good price for such a Merckx. Congrats to the buyer

Absolutely stunning Merckx Strada in Midnight Blue - it's an absolute beauty. See the pics for all the Merckx detail; Panto'd fork crowns, rear brake bridge etc. It has lovely cut-out lugs and the chrome is immense. Not sure what year it's from, given the paintwork it's obviously 90s but not sure of the exact year. I don't know much about Columbus Brain, all I know is this frame is pretty light.
Condition is excellent, there's a few small paint chips as you can see in the pics, but it really is in excellent condition.

Looking for £230 given the condition (Headset is not included, it's just keeping the forks in place).
Pick-up from London (Stoke Newington) or can post at cost.
