Sounds more like your crank spider has a bent arm. Take it off and lay it on a flat surface to have a look. What BB have you got?

Cool, I will double check that. I did check when I installed the new chainring. worth another look. BB is the original from the fuji factory ie: No idea. amazingly still running smooth after nearly 2 years
I have slightly warped another chainring. about 2mm wobble. Easy to see as on half has visible wear on the teeth on the inside and none outside and then visa versa. Also the unworn area connected to the arms under the crank. (prob makes no sense)
It's annoying cause it's quite a new 130bcd/44t Velosolo ring. The last 'ring was a sug. messenger, which i just figured was crap.
I notice when applying power, the whole BB area (chainstays etc) def. flex.
I'm wondering if its this flex that pull the cranks and chainring out of alignment and the chainring is just the weakest part so therefore bends? Or the crank spider arm are actually bent?
The frame is a Fuji track 09 and cranks are standard FSA vero. My legs really are not that strong so I shouldn't be killing driveline bits this quickly. It's still functional but it gives annoying grumbles and vibration through the driveline at higher cadence.
