I would agree- def better ways to clamp brakes- but you have to enjoy the lovely over-engineering of them- looks like the kind of things worked out in a pub and knocked up the next week. You could always have them on the bike just to 'look' legal ;)

Just noticed that they screw into your forks to attach... that doesn't seem clever...
