Been after one of these for ages as you say it's really light and I love the design of it I have got my dream frame so I may just get som FF wheels in the future.

    FF?

  • ^ what he said

  • kc, can you post that picture of your stable?
or remind us of which thread you posted it in?

  • and after.

Loving the Peugeot. What are those tyres? Schwalbe?

  • I rather the purple cables

  • Still waiting on my BMC racemaster frameset, which means customs have it, which means my wallet is going to the pain cave.

I've found a nice yellow SLR on offer, ordered a stem, and have wheels waiting. I'll pick up some Easton ec90 slx bars after crimbo. Just need to save for a Chorus 11spd groupset. Should look like this (minus EDGE decals on wheel, and probs yellow lizardskin tape)

you certainly like your track bikes

It's where I do most of my riding these days.

  • id like to learn how to ride track.
its always had a certain appeal.

  • what wheels do you have, EDGE too?

tune hubs laced to 48mm carbon clinchers. Triplet rear.

  • KC, why do you need that white Planet X track with when you have the BMC? Surely they are for exactly same purpose?

  • Jeez, he only got the BMC today!

  • Bainbridge I recall he does have a keen (if temporary) interested in the BMC but it was quite an expensive track frame that made the Cinelli/Planet X a cheap little gas-piped frame.

I was going to keep the planet x for sqt's and the BMC for racing but I may end up selling the Planet X

  • @kc: which look keo pedals do you use? how many float or fixed cleats?

  • I know that BMC is a really good bike, but I don't like it. Looks like a load of decent parts chucked together whereas KCs white planet X looks more like a thought out overall project.

  • for a real track bike function comes before form or look

  • I certainly don't doubt that, I hope KC rides it so fast no one can get a proper look at it.

    perfect wheels.
