Hey,
What colour is the 45t you are running? As I have a 48t thats black and would prefer a little smaller. So if the 45t you have is black and not heavily used could swap. Mine is very new.

Alext, my current chainring is silver and well worn so it would not be a fair trade.
Timbo, that's kind of you, where did ring come from? 48-14 is too high for London town, want to avoid getting a different sprocket, but thanks anyway.

Agreed 48-14 might be slightly overboard for LDN. Was running 47-16, brilliant to sprint, but not to skid, 2 week's of a few near crashes, slippery road paints and knees feeling like a streched chain telling me to lower the GI...

I can see daylight... need a new chainring, preferably near new. Running 45t at moment so near that. May be changing sprocket too in which case I'll probably be after about 50t.
