  • You beetter be going to the pub

    No, you beetter.

  • Black seatpost, silver saddle?

The saddle is actually black, and the seatpost silver... is that hard to see in the picture?

Ai, and I'm suggesting that they should be the other way round.

So... for the hard of understanding :-)

I think that would look better with a black seatpost and silver saddle, to match the silver bar tape and black stem.

    ;-)

  • I don't think a silver saddle would look good on anything.

  • Lies. It would look awesome. Get the spray can out.

  • not anything big in the slightest- changed the pedals on my bmx from my some calf calvers to some odyssey twisted. They're good pedals.

Errr..... I did get it Gizmond, the 1st time ;)

Get me a Campagnolo NR in Black 26.2, or any Campagnolo 26.2 in black, and I'll get the Flite covered in
    Silver. Didn't think so..

    This^.
The Silver bartape happened to be here in a drawer, well, 1 side only.
'Tis was never meant to be. I'm not sure now.

  • 'Tis was never meant to be.

    That's not very nice

  • New project

  • ^nice. i am sitting here with a OG gangsta v1 in my closet still waiting to be built up :(

  • just mocked up my 50's sun manxman tonight, I'm debating some lug lining? too much?

  • Ha, never too much lug lining ;-)

Memories creeping back, Nuno... sitting in a vegetative state, trying to practice with paint pens on the new frame...

Also that is the best song ever

  • I love that song?

what you reckon? silver lug lining?

  • Yes.
I was actually practicing 2 nights ago, on my new frame before it hit the PCers.
    Silver ink markers work beautifully.

  • Yes.

    I was K.O'd...

  • Yes.

Just some pilot lining metallic markers? The lugs arent too ornate, just think it might add to the build a bit.

  • I was K.O'd...

    You are a DF.

    Yes, this.

can be done. just be sure to practice on a frame or two so as to get the technique down.

It's not that difficult, but the learning curve is very steep in the beginning. This means that unless you practice first, you'll end up getting the hang of it as you go along your real frame, and your lug lines will all look different.

  • maybe start on the less visible lugs first.

If i make a total balls of it ill respray that section.

  • or a quick wipe with a rag with some whitespirit on it

  • New project

    Where, how, how much!?!!?!

  • That red & black Brooklyn looks HOT!

  • You can buy it brand new in TokyoFixed apart from the fork, it'll come with the Clusterfork instead (and BMW seatpost & headset).

  • I thought they only had the 2nd gen in, thats a first!
