  • Dick move, er, rik...

  • Dick move, er, rik...

    Wrong thread.

  • zing!

  • ECM: Jared and some American friends started heckling the Europeans for their innovative "cheating" mallets during Berlin 2010. A small band of renegades then brought the debate back to London with them... the European Cheater Mallet was born.

  • innovative

You had to go & do it, didn't you?

  • ECM: A small band of polo players realized that it's easier to control the ball by cutting the side out of their mallet, while also resulting in a lighter mallet. A number of people noticed this (before, during, and after the worlds). Someone at the world's (incorrectly) coined the term European Cheater Mallet (to be fair, it seems like the Aussies were there first). Debate over whether this is "progression" of the game, or just a gimmick, have ensued since.

  • A Brendo: Going over your bars when pulling an endo. Made famous by London's very own Brendan who insisted on riding freewheel with a front brake only.

  • B-Bone: Brendan crashing into 2 of Netto at the BFF last year, and taking them both down, leaving the goal open for dave/aidan.

  • ^this

  • Until the kitchen

I was a cold saturday morning, at Downham, I dont know if it was league game, and the throwins after. I bassically screamed "until the kitchen" that is the literal translation of "hasta la cocina" that in spanish means to get something right in, to get until the end with something
I screamed it, because of the inaptitude of some players when having clear all the defenders and having an empty goal, they choose the long shoot rather than taking the ball close the goal and to shoot

  • ^ Never heard of it...

  • Come on Daaaaaaaaaaave!

(not sure where this one came from...)
    ;-)

Shouted in London (and apparently in parts of France and Germany too!!)

  • A Brendo: Going over your bars when pulling an endo. Made famous by London's very own Brendan who insisted on riding freewheel with a front brake only.

Front brake only is the way to go. Getting a double brake for me was just a stepping stone towards admission.

  • Object: of interest.

  • "Oh La La!" - phrase directed at Yorgo on his completion of a sweet move, high speed crash, large circle etc. Relating to his generally French nature.

  • "no kids on the court"

i think i heard it first at pologamy 2009 in munich while yorgo jumped from the outside into the court to help due to someone's mechanical problem
