Hello there, offered for sale is this rather delightful Colnago Master Olympic frame .In excellent condition,top tube ctc 54cm seat tube ctt54cm,rear end 130mm. Complete with the fitted Campagnolo Athena headset and Campagnolo Veloce bottom bracket. £580 viewing and Pick up from Wood green North london.

Interestingly the frame, forks and the paint job appear to be exactly identical to my Colnago Tecnos Competition, the lugs, the seatstay cluster, everything except the decals and the tubing sticker. Can anyone tell me if there are any differences between Master Olympic and Tecnos?

Possibly tubing, the original Tecnos used the EL-OS tubing, they later changed to Gilco which is what this seems to be. If yours is a later one not much then, but this has the crimped tubing, I don't know if Tecnos have that?

I have a Tecnos too :)
As far as I know the Tecnos tubing is Columbus Genius drawn to Colnago's specs. There was a weight limit to the frame too; I suspect the Tecnos is a lighter frame than the Master. The tube profiles are different with the Tecnos having much more pronounced 'bulges' than the Master.
I thought Fox would be all over this.

Different tubing probably, yes. My Tecnos says only 'Tecnos' on the Columbus tubing sticker. However, I think I read somewhere that the C with the clover leaf inside it on the seatstay cluster like seen here on the frame was found only on the Tecnos?

I've had a good hard think and I think I really want a whole bike. So undibbed and free bump!
