  • Yup, that makes it a no-go for me really. Anything over 40-42mm just looks wrong on 6.5inch wrists.

  • Limited Edition Casio from the OSCE Summit in Kazakhstan last week.

  • OSCE

The Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe is the primary instrument for early warning, conflict prevention, crisis management

  • Correctomundo. And what an ineffective past term the Astana-based chair has had.

  • Thoughts?
£68 on Amazon, would like to get a smart watch for general wear, and going out, without being too ostentatious

I really like this. Are they any pictures of the actual product though?

  • i actually fell in love with a Grand Seiko.

so far outside my price range its silly.

  • I've been lusting over some seiko's recently.

My father bought one as a young professional back in the 1980's communist Yugoslavia.

It cost him a whole months wages!

  • Got this one...

  • @Zed - I was eyeing up those the other day in town, went as far as trying one on but it just looked too big on me. I really love its little brother, the SKX023K: its a couple of mm smaller and isn't as deep (the minute markers are horizontal as apposed to being on a slope like on the pic above).

  • so was the consensus here that buying a 48 pound seiko from singapore was totally safe?

  • wow! want. if only the date was in black too.
50mm case is pretty insane though.

  • i think the different colour for the date works.

i was just thinking how mad would it be for them to have put the date in the crown. not easy to see unless you like scratching your chin with your thumb but chic.

  • @ well is it, that watch you posted will be my old fella's b-day present.

    i also like the skx007

  • nice

  • It looks really nice with the rubber strap actually...

  • ^^^does look great with the rubber strap. I feel another purchase coming on.

FYI kids, I'm selling my Tag on the forums. Would make a lovely Xmas present. http://www.lfgss.com/thread56295.html

  • Quite liking some of the christopher wards at the moment. Not too shabby for £240...

A bit late to this I know.

I have two Christopher Wards - the diver's watch in the link (blue face) and the peregrine chronograph. Had them both for about 4-5 years. Great, everyday watches. I have some really minor quibbles on the build quality of the Peregrine but I think a lot of that has improved over the past few years (as their prices have gone up) so a thumbs up from me.

  • Has anyone seen the Mr Jones watch inspired by Graeme Obree - really cool!

  • want of the day --^

  • This is what I'm wearing atm. I'm a big fan fabric straps now as they feel so good to wear.

Seiko SRP043 on 20mm Nato strap.

  • fabric straps only have one problem... sweat, and even washing them... the smell came back soon

My leather strap pongs a bit. Have tried all sorts to sort it out, nothing works so far.

  • I've got one of these (skx007) on the standard rubber strap.
It's awesome - i think the difference with the 023 is this is a little bigger...
