Nothing fancy, but on the way for my winter bike, with a touch of red to match my new colours

Light!

Indeed, about 1/3 less than the benchmark Tune MIG45/MAG150. Would build into a sub-800g wheelset with AX-Lightness rims.

You could save that much weight by having a poo before you ride and shaving your amrpits and pubes.

more, if you ate the right stuff

But you can do all that and have some 800g wheels. In fact, given what they're likely to cost, you'll probably have to sell a kidney anyway, saving even more weight.

thats super light.
i reckon blinging the fuck out of you bike and making it super light (lightbikes.com light) isn't really necessary, why not just train more and become a better rider. if i'm not mistaken the UCI weight limit is 6.8kg, but surely anything much lighter than that just becomes a bit unstable? please correct me if im wrong MDCC

The X-Wing gag is very old - read the thread before posting.
Yes, in general there no point building below 6.8 because you cant race it and an extra kg is neither here nor there on the Sunday cafe ride, although you can build a very tough and raceworthy bike well below that, e.g. with Lightweights (used by many Pros) and a Look 585 (tough enough for Paris-Roubaix), it's easy to get down to about 6.2 using regular Pro-team accredited bits, not anything exotic. I'm not into anything which compromises function just to be light, like some of these WW builds with down tube gear levers, chopped bars and Tufo tubulars.

That's me told. I wouldn't publish the fact that I knew the difference, in the unlikely event that I did.

You'd have trouble getting them through a quill stem ;)
Surely you mount your £300 Garmin 705 on the stem section, leaving the forward mount free for a £325 Exposure MaXx-D light?
