Rather scarily, Sky showed the ground less than 2 hours after the last wicket fell and it looked like this...!

Fell asleep and missed it live, woke up to highlights of 2009 at 2.30 and I thought that rain had forced the draw. Working and travelling from 5.30 yesterday morning meant I did not find out until yesterday evening we had won - sweetness.
We were clinical and played well.
However it has to be said that if you just look at this contest as two cricket teams and forget that this side is Austrailian, its a side who are
1.not playing well- who have not got as good a performing set of players
and 3.a random selection policy.
In the words of our ex-manager Owen Coyle - "long may that continue"
- who have not got as good a performing set of players

from the BBC's Tom Fordyce's blog player ratings:
"Doug the Rug deserves another point for being on the end of the best sledge of the test, when Jonathan Trott told him to 'Keep his hair on'..."

What has Hauritz done? Did he shag a selectors wife or something?

What has Hauritz done? Did he shag a selectors wife or something?
It's what he hasn't/can't do that appears to bother the Aus selectors. If the series trends can be reversed I think the Aus team will be able to do whatever they like to whoevers selectors wife/wives they wish(metaphorically speaking), because the selectors will be so grateful. Cant see the series changing course myself
The old one out at the top and one good new one in, policy served them really well, they forgot this early 2007.

amazing tactictics by australia.
They fail miserably largely due to lack of consistency in their team, chopping and changing their line up for each match so what do they do to 'change the momentum'?
Change 5 playersShame that England are forced to change their match winning team. Wonder who'll replace Broad. Probably tremlett
