heres the rub
"The scheme will be introduced in all primary schools across the country and will teach six to eight year old children the importance of protecting the brain and how a cycle can do this"
(there is also a Headsmart scheme for 8-11 year olds)
who is sponsoring this?:- GEM Motoring Assist.

CEO of GEM says
"We want to promote cycling, however, we know our environment can be dangerous and people need to take precautions to ensure they are as protected as possible"

so, governement money to cycling and sustainable transport dies up, big society (in this case motoring lobby) moves in.

this is how it works folks, while we promote cycling, these cunts with their marketing double speak come along and get there with the fear, danger and safer in the car message.
