wd40, gt85 etc are supposed to stick in your lock if you use them too much. i had an evolution mini that kept getting stuck to the point where i almost binned it. i had been using wd40 for a while but it just wasn't doing the job (for very long, it would work but just not last). one blast of graphite and it hasn't been an issue since. that was about a year ago now.
so +1 for graphite
