As a teen I was very narrow minded with my music. At school, I was a fervant little Mod (3rd gen) sort and liked my Jam, Specials, Dexys and originals The KInks, Who, Small Faces and Beatles etc etc.......but in my bedroom away from the prying eyes of peers in Parkas, I was also getting off on Prince and the Revolution, FGTH, AON and all sorts of electronic goodness.
Everyone hated The Police in my little crowd, but there was just something about the guitar and the melody in Synchronicity II that moved me, still does
